The British Kiel Yacht Club (BKYC), based in Kiel,Germany is selling 10 HR 342 yachts. The boats, less than 4 years old, will be available for collection in late October 2010. The BKYC, who normally replace their training fleet every 3 seasons, operate their boats in the Baltic in support of British Forces sail training. The boats have a full inventory and are all in very good condition. The yachts have benefited from full factory support and professional husbandry and maintenance throughout. The fleet were built by HR to an exacting standard to meet both the UK Department of Trade Code of Practice and Germanischer Lloyd specification.
These HR 342 have tiller steering and a strong fractional rig (19/20). The boats have 3 offshore quality sails (Genoa, Jib and Main) with all halyards led aft to the cockpit. There is full instrumentation, a pressurised hot and cold water system and a diesel heater. A Volvo Penta D1- 28 BHP is standard. There is teak on the deck, in the cockpit and on the bathing platform.
The boats are being sold, tax unpaid, at a fixed price of €120,000. VAT payment is a personal matter and dependent on country of registration. The boats can be seen at Kiel by arrangement.
